         TERMS AND CONDITIONS


We are a New Zealand trading company and all prices are in NZ dollars and include GST.

 

Emails: Due to the volume of emails we receive please allow a reasonable time for us to respond.  If you have not heard from us within a week please resend email to make sure we didn't miss yours

PAYMENT

All sales are expected to be paid for within 3 days of placing orders.  Any order still outstanding after 7 days will be cancelled.  Orders are only dispatched once payment has been received by us in full.


DELIVERY POLICY

We aim to dispatch and deliver your order to you as quickly as possible. Orders are only to mainland New Zealand
 

Orders will be delivered to your door via Fastway Couriers (Signature Required) No courier package will be left without a signature.  Any requests to leave with out signature will be ignored. or NZ Post (rural only).  

All orders are processed on our business days at 9am once processed a completed invoice is emailed.  All orders after this time are processed next business day.

 

We aim to deliver within 7 days if your item is in stock. Normal delivery takes 2-5 days depending on your address. Please note we can not control the courier service and sometimes things out of our control do occur. All back orders will be dispatched within 4 weeks unless personally notified.

 

$4 shipping charge (excluding long items which are an extra $3) must be paid before orders are sent. Shipping is within mainland NZ .  For overseas orders please contact us first to arrange shipping charges.

 

You must inform us promptly within 7 days of your parcel arriving of any discrepancy.



   
 
RETURN POLICY:

We do not provide a refund if you have changed your mind about a particular purchase so we ask that you choose carefully.


If goods have a manufacturing defect, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act. 
 

We may exchange goods within 14 days of sale subject to the following conditions:

  a) Must be in their "as sold" condition including original packaging, Undamaged, unopened and in a resaleable conditionDamaged or used items will be refused for exchanges.

  b) Receipt must be provided - No receipt - sorry no exchanges / refunds

  c) NO Credit, exchanges or refunds for items that was specially ordered, modified or cut to length to meet you requirements or was sold under clearance sale

  d) A credit note may be issued which is valid for 12 months from the original date of purchase.  You must provide this when redeeming your store credit.

A 15% restocking fee may be charged.

SALE items sold during the "End of Lease Sale" are clearance and cannot be returned / refunded / exchanged.



ORDERS:

All orders must be prepaid. Until we receive payment we will not order your items.
Once an order has been placed it can not be cancelled or amended, though it *may* be possible to increase quantities or make minor changes.
 

As these are items have been specially ordered they can not be exchanged or refunded for change of mind. Orders take approx. 3 weeks (longer during any holiday periods). LED World can not be held responsible for any delays to orders due to the manufactures delays in processing and shipment.


We have the right to cancel any orders


Online Orders

All orders once placed and paid for will be sent out to you as per the order.  It is your responsibility to read all of the descriptions on the items before you order.  If you placed an order without reading the description this is your negligence. Orders will not be cancelled or refunded because you failed to read the information provided to you.  If you do not understand a description please email us at sales@ledworld.co.nz and someone will answer you.  All photos provided are an indication of the item, accessories you may also need to purchase or applications the product may be used in. The description overrules any pictures that are present.  It is understood that if you do place an order that you have read these terms and conditions.

Privacy Statement

Internet Ordering and Security is important.  We will ensure your credit card details and personal information are safe. We will never sell or give your personal information that you supply to us to anyone. Your credit card details are handled securely by a third party payment processor (DPS). We accept Visa and Mastercard cards on-line. We also accept bank transfer as our payment system.

Sorry we can not accept phone orders as we can not accept payments over the phone.

To protect your sensitive information you will need to register as a user with your own password before you can order from us.

For the purpose of providing customer services we may email you information to inform you about our products.



We don't refund if you simply change your mind, but we want you to have the right product, so we may exchange goods at our discretion within 14 days of purchase providing the goods are in their original, resaleable condition.

Special orders, or items that have been altered in any way or cut to length are non refundable or not able to be exchanged.

We reserve the right to refuse sale of any item to any person.

 

WARRANTY:

All warranties refer to domestic installations only and installed by a licenced electrician with a COC completed. No other warranties either express or implied by law are made with respect mto these goods.  If the goods are being purchased for a business purpose then the purchaser acknowledges that the Consumer Guarantee Act will not apply

 

All items are thoroughly tested before they are sold (on video). Rest assured you will not receive a faulty item. As these are sensitive electronics, the buyer bears all risk when installing and any damage done while being installed is not covered. Strip warranty does not cover mechanical failure (eg if you stand on it, twist it or stretch it), only LED burnout. Items used in a manner other than designed voids all warranty.

Warranty is only valid when an approved LED World power supply is purchased with item.

In most cases an LED product is adapted to fit a purpose of your own design. We are not responsible for any failure of any product used other than manufacturers intended purpose, nor are we responsible for any advice given based on information supplied to us at time of purchase, nor any flaws in your design.

LEDs and control gear must be protected from moisture, external heat sources, be removable, not be in contact with materials that trap heat and be provided with adequate ventilation.

As with any warranty claims you will have to return the item with original receipts.  This is a requirement as we will have to test the item.

 

Warranty Claims

1. First contact us by email with your problem.

2. Must provide original LED World receipt or Website order number. This may be emailed to us. Sorry bank statements are not accepted. Sorry no receipt then there will be a charge.

3. Once you have been informed by LED World the item needs to be returned to within 7 days.

4. You will need to also provide a description of problem.  Your Set up and installation.  Also details of your electrician.  The more details you give us the more we can help you address the problem.

5. If item is found to not be faulty a charge will be payable.

6. If the item has been incorrectly installed, or item has been amended, or installed without a licenced electrician then your warranty is voided. There will be a charge to fix any problems


Any shipping cost are not refundable or able to be claimed. Shipping covers initial outgoing only.

Any installations costs associated with the product is not covered or able to be refunded.

We will otherwise meet our obligations under the consumer guarantees Act.
