Lens series as the name suggests, contain lenses that direct light into a narrow beam, similar to halogen bulbs. These are available in 30, 60, or 90 degree. For kitchen benches, or high ceilings, lens type is recommended to force light where it is needed most.

Diffuser type have a diffuser over the LEDs, which spreads the light over an area. These are suitable for areas such as living areas. The lens type can be modified, the lenses can be removed and frosted glass put in it's place.

IP44 series are suitable for bathrooms and outside under eaves. Many people however are installing this type through the whole house. Bathrooms MUST use IP44 type.

“COB type” are our latest model.  Smaller cutout (75-80mm).  Designed to replicate a halogen. 12w only.

Lens type is available in 7w, 9w, 12w and 18w

Diffuser / IP44 is available in 7, 9 and 12w.

If using diffuser type for a kitchen, we recommend 12w. 7w diffuser should never be used for work areas.
