Recently we got samples of strip from a new supplier who claimed a brightness level we didnt believe. Upon testing, we were amazed. They really are a leap in brightness. Until now, putting so much power into a flexible strip meant the strip overheated. This company solved this by doubling the thickness of the copper backing and widening the strip a few mm.
The intensity is stunning. The colors more vibrant. Also, they can make 'natural' white strip (between cool and warm), and 'color temperature' strip, containing both cool and warm LEDs which allows for smooth transition between cool and warm.
For the RGB strip, we have noticed there is more balance between the colors, resulting in a nice white when selected.
The light output is even higher than the 99/m strip. The 99/m strip was so jam-packed with components that not much of the strip was flexible, so it was a little more delicate. We will phase out the 99/m and phase in the 60/m high power strip in it's place.
